Movement

My children are moving. Ash is skiing and Helena is crawling and the universe is spinning. Yikes. PS, Helena is rockin' commando style due to a pesky rash on her tush that even Butt Paste doesn't seem to be curing. Suggestions welcome.

probably a funal rash. lotrimin, the foot stuff, will probably do the trick. I can get the extra powerful stuff from work this weekend if lotrimin doesn't work. let me know.

Ash is rocking the skis. Where are you going?

OMG how cool are both your kids!! Love Love Love the Ash ski video, no fear? My only rash suggestion is to air dry as often as possible, which it looks like you're doing and use your hair dryer to be sure she's dry before putting on the medicine and her diaper. Old school.....like me! Next week can't get here soon enough!

Wow...now THAT'S the way to start my morning off right...first a phone call and now these two precious videos! They're both learning and on the move - good job guys! Love you!

If it is not fungal, bag balm is the best. It doesn't smell great but it gets rid of rashes in a flash and prevents them.

I remember Liz used lotrimin on a rash when Nate was little. I remember because I bought it at the drugstore and the clerk gave me a funny look and commented on it; something like I know what you're using this for. I told her that she would never believe what it was being used for and left her wondering. It did work very fast and completely got rid of the rash.

Do your diapers have dyes in them? It very well could be fungal, but I've known of three babies that got rashes due to the dye on the inside of their diapers. Not sure why diaper companies feel it's necessary to put a dye on the inside of a diaper, but it's fairly common. The one brand I know of that does not use dye on the inside is the Target store brand.
