I think it was in the middle of page 14 when I had to flip to the back of the book to see what else Elizabeth Gilbert has written. I plan on reading all of them. Eat, Pray, Love is Gilbert's year long journey to 3 countries and her quest to study the art of pleasure (Italy), the art of devotion (India) and find balance between the two (Indonesia). Really amazing read, just be careful not to have access to travelocity and a credit card while reading the portion on Italy...

We are another CHI couple adopting from Ethiopia and I have checked out your blog from time to time. So, today when I was checking in I noticed your EPL book review! I have read this book twice since the new year and love it! IT is a book that I will give as a token of growth to many of my friends throughout the years! Elizabeth's writing is poignant, clever, and heartfelt. She is true to her being and so present in every moment throughout her year's journey! I really hope you enjoy this book. Let me know your reflections when you finish.
