Who would've known that one year later we'd be wrapping up our evening sitting around the coffee table playing Ash's favorite new board game, Brown Bear Brown Bear. If only he knew how quickly our hearts were palpitating this time last year, if only he knew our anticipation, our fear, our undying devotion to every ounce of his being. But wait, who knew? I think he did. I hope he does. I know he will.

Who Knew?

Beautifully written! Makes me so excited for our journey!!
Oh, you make my heart sing. How cute is the pics, what is the game? Can't wait to play it with you all. Love M
I can't believe I've known you (through the blog) for over a year. It's incredible to me how quickly the time has gone. All of our lives are different...
who knew is right.
:) Love the photos.
One year ago we could only dream of loving such a precious grandson...and today he has "personalatized" (that's a gamma word for "he's got personality!") himself into our lives and we are so very blessed. Thank you God for having a perfect plan for Ashton's life!
You had me in tears...I remember those same feelings, I don't think they will ever go away.
I didn't know there was a Brown Bear game...that was Mari's favorite book for a long time (until it "accidentally" got "lost" under the couch - you can only read it so many hundreds of times!). The only game she remotely gets is CandyLand Castle. I'll have to look for Brown Bear.
