Yes, this is an adoption blog. Kind of. And it's a family blog. Kind of. And it may just also be the rantings of a happily diverted liberal interested in things like the world and the environment and the love and the unity that is happening and/or could happen right here, today. Sometimes I get distracted by the multitude of cute kid pics and stray from the broader picture - the one where I do things for things that I care about, act on things that I feel are important, and so on and so forth. You get the picture.
So here it is. I think THIS ARTICLE is worth the read. I think you should GO HERE to join my project and support orphan care for vulnerable children. And I believe that we can all learn a lot from this video...
There's so much love to be shared and life to embrace. Ethiopia is the most beautiful country I've ever visited - hands down - and we will forever have the most special of special connection with the people of Ethiopia.
And to end this quagmire of a post (because I think this is where I was going with that) I leave you with...love. Cause that's really the be all and end all of it all, right?
Cheers.

AMEN! The video says it all...
That video tears me up each time I see it. Good golly.
I'm with you. Ethiopia is the most amazing place. The people. The landscape. The love. I've never encountered a more content or loving people. There is joy everywhere. I hate that most westerners only see the poverty because Ethiopia (heck, AFRICA) is so much more than a dollar sign.
Loved it!
