When Everything Smells Like Cinnamon Sticks

Ash is getting so big and he is handsome beyond anything. How do you come his hair, as in does he like it or not very much? We will probably cut Olly's hair after we do this photo shoot in October because he abhors having it combed and we try to comb it religiously so it does not dread and it is well cared for. But he has a major issue with it, the poor thing.

Cindy,
Thanks! As far as his hair care goes, we comb it out every other night during bath time and on non-bath nights we play it by ear depending on whether or not he's done any head stands in the sandbox that day. We use a leave-in conditioner that we apply while he's in the tub (condition every other night, shampoo once a week) and then let him play while we comb through his curls. He's really good about it now but originally was a bit fussy. I think he's just gotten used to it as part of the routine at this point. Then after his bath we oil him down head to toe with coconut oil (hair too)and in the mornings do the same but also apply hair milk which helps define his curls while keeping his hair moisturized and shiny. On non-bath nights a little bit of coconut oil seems to help with the comb out, but again I think he's just gotten used to it at this point and rolls with the flow. Hope this helps!

Thanks, Jo. It does help. At this point we try not to wash Olly's hair but once every several days since he's not getting into sandboxes yet. That does help, I think if we do more combing it out in the bath instead of after the bath it might help the situation. Thanks again!

Ok, I'll ask; why does everything smell like cinnamon sticks? I've been studying the pictures and can't figure it out. Darling pictures of Ash, so studying the pictures is not really studying.

The cinnamon stick reference was just a quick way for me to say "life is good". :)
