Between moisturizer and paint and getting my toes did and my hair done I'm a bit lost... Do I really need to do all this stuff to be "fixed up" every day? Operation fixerup may go well but operation keep-her-fixed-up is going to be the challenge. I'm sure there's a matrix out there somewhere that can help a mama devote adequate time to fixerup activities, but if not I definitely know of a matrix that helps a mama savor vino style activities. So in either case I stand to benefit. Though right now I'm leaning towards the vino...

Ok...all this said, Mikes going to have a heck of a fixerupper job to do on our family portrait between taking 25 pounds off of me and the new you! Is it possible to switch heads from picture to picture? I want a new me look too! Oh ya...I got it - right after the pictures were taken for my new Elizabethan collar look! Timing is everything. But Caleb informed me yesterday at lunch that I'm gorgeous so 'll take that as a compliment and love looking at our portrait every day - change happens but we're still the same inside and that's the important part of the picture. Oh how I love my family! Oh, and I love my new Lancombe lipstick - unpaid advertisement. Have a great great day! Love you, mom
No, you don't need to do all of it to be fixed up because you're already fixed up - you're a natural beauty. But it's fun, non?
The upkeep isn't ALL that tough.
I AM vain enough to know when I feel like I look good, I FEEL better about myself and am generally a happier person.
Of course, I also FEEL better after some Target boxed wine (gasp!), but they won't let me drink it at work, so I'll settled w/ painted nails and no-roots hair.
You crack me up! I would like to see a picture posted of the new hair do! How much did you get cut off? I always love salon day, and a great new do.... It makes me feel good, and dare I say, actually like a woman again... not frumpy old mom! But then it is usually back to mom pony tail about 2 days later.... cuz I just don't have the energy to wake up that much earlier than my kids.... just to do my hair!
I bet you look georgeous! Can't wait to see a pic!
