Yo Ho Ho And A Dinosaur

Last year we had to duct tape the Clifford costume to him to get him to keep it on. Not so much this year, in fact he may be going to school as a dinosaur for the foreseeable future.

This is the 5th pumpkin we (and by we, I mean daddy) carved this year. We have a small addiction to the apple farm and pumpkin pickin and cider doughnuts and cow trains, and Ash is a HUGE fan of roasted pumpkin seeds.

Mommy should have just gone as a chipmunk, the cheeks came built-in this year so all I would've needed are some ears and a tail. Alas the annual cop-out won and yo ho ho and a bottle of ibuprofen made their way to the parade.

Ash was very insistent that daddy go as a guitar for Halloween, 80's rock star was as close as we could get.

Could you do anything but hand over an entire bag of candy to this trick or treater? Unfortunately that tended to be the case more often than not, this kids got one giant pile 'o loot that's sure to last him all the way to the dentist's chair.

The trick to making him smile? Let him take a piece of anything from that there pumpkin and the smile's all yours.

Walking in the Village parade with his girlfriend, Minnie Mouse.

Last stop at the Village firehouse - these two scored double candy from the firemen, can't imagine why...

Mommy's cheeks are slowly but surely de-swelling down to somewhat normal size and daddy is out in the yard shaking his head at the zillions of leaves that need to be raked while Ash rides his bike super fast in one giant loop around the house. So much to be done over the next couple of weeks, it's a good thing we've 100% resigned the day to rolling around in the leaves, watching football, and eating pumpkin candy! Happy November everybody!
